Description: This course introduces the foundational principles of architectural design through hands-on projects in a studio environment. Students learn to observe, analyze, and organize space using architectural ideas such as proportion, hierarchy, rhythm, and scale. Emphasis is placed on process, iteration, and the relationship between form, structure, and human experience. Students communicate design intent through architectural drawings, models, and visual presentations, establishing a foundation for continued architectural study.
