Snow College is a member of the College Consortium for International Studies (CCIS), a partnership founded over 30 years ago consisting of globally-minded colleges and universities. This international network opens up a world of possibilities for Snow students!

One of the best things about CCIS study abroad programs is that you don't stay in your own bubble; programs are immersion based. This means that unless you are taking language classes, you are in courses with locals and other international students, which enables you to more easily blend into a new foreign culture and environment.

Explore the program options below and contact the Center for Global Engagement to receive more information and apply.

Program Highlights

Trusted

CCIS study abroad programs are administered by international educators at accredited U.S. institutions. You can trust that these programs have been academically vetted and are managed with the same safety and security as Snow College.

Choices

Spend a semester abroad at one of our partner institutions in over a dozen countries all around the world. With so many choices, you'll easily find a program that fits your budget, goals, and interests.

Immersion

Living and studying in a foreign country is a once-in-a-lifetime experience with countless benefits. You'll enjoy the perfect combination of adventure and academic enrichment.

This is a great match for students who...

  • Would like to attend a university or college overseas, as opposed to joining a program offered by a study abroad company.
  • Want a convenient study abroad option. Snow College students pay semester tution and fees to Snow, not an overseas provider.
  • Are ready to expand their academic horizons, explore new learning environments, and gain independence.

Academics Application Institutions and Locations

Academics

Thanks to the variety of programs in the CCIS network, you can take a selection of academic subjects tailored to your interests and career goals.

Most programs are taught in English and require no prior knowledge of a foreign language.

In other cases, you can study in the local language if you meet the language profiency requirements.

Or, you can take classes in English and take a language course in order to improve your skills and adapt to the local culture. Some programs are specifically designed for you to study a language and others offer a combination of courses in English and foreign language study.

Check the academic information and requirements on each program’s page via the Institutions and Locations tab shown above.
