Gavin Douglas

 

Gavin Douglas is thrilled to be joining the Snow College Department of Theatre as an Assistant Professor of Performance.

Gavin joins the Snow family by way of Oregon; the state he has called home for most of his life. He grew up in Bend, earned his BFA from Southern Oregon University in Ashland, and most recently resided in Portland, oregon. His career as an actor has centered mainly in the Pacific Northwest, having worked at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, the Island Shakespeare Festival in the Washington State Puget Sound, and various theatres in Portland and Seattle

In 2023, Gavin earned his MFA from Indiana University. After teaching and working as an actor in Indiana, he returned to teach at his undergraduate Alma Mater, Southern Oregon University, as a Visiting Professor.

Gavin is joined by his brilliant and talented wife, Alex who, has more talents than can be displayed in this blurb, and their grumpy old hound dog, Bronson. The three of them are overjoyed to call Ephraim home now and can't wait to contribute to the excellence of Snow and hope to upload its sterling reputation.
