Title: Applied Technical Math

Prerequisites: Math 0700 (or equivalent) with a C or better, ACT Math score of 15 or higher (or equivalent), or appropriate placement test score.

Description: This course covers the principles of algebra, geometry, and measurement as they apply to problem-solving in the Business and Technical Education (BTE) division programs. Topics include basic algebra, graphing linear equations and inequalities, practical plane geometry, applications of volume and shapes, triangle trigonometry, applications of percentages, and basic personal finance.
