During this course, the student will learn about, make, and learn to use the following tools

  • Atlatl
  • Atlatl Dart
  • Flint and Steel fire making set
  • Hiking Staff with a basic survival set-up incorporated into the stick
  • Wooden spoon carving
  • Figure-4 and Paiute Deadfall traps
  • Natural cordage
  • Sun Compass
  • Ghost Bead artifact
  • Bullroarer
  • Bow-drill fire making set (possibly)
