Sampler Quilt Class: A Journey Through Patchwork

Class Description:
This sampler quilt finishes at 86" x 86".  You can make it fit a queen size bed by adding to the borders.  You will learn various techniques as you learn to make the different blocks.  This will be a fun quilt and once you learn to make these blocks you will know how to use them to make a quilt using that block or a combination of two blocks.  Come join me to learn to make this quilt.

The cost of this class is $180 per person. There are other costs associated with this class. Kits are available upon request.

Sampler Quilt yardage:
Fat Quarter bundle, at least 41 pieces (this sample uses the Americana collection by Lori Holt)
Background 2 1/4 yards
Sashing2 1/4  yards
Borders 1 2/8 yards
Cornerstones 1/2 yard

Additional supplies:
Sewing Machine, power cord and foot controller
Thread
Batting (discussed in class)
Backing Material (discussed in class)
Rotary cutter, mat and rulers  (I like to use a 6" x 12" and then a 12 1/2" square ruler.  Other sizes that may be helpful would be a 6 1/2" square.  The teacher has some of these available if you need to purchase them.
3 ring binder (I recommend a 2 - 3" binder as your pattern pages will be given to you weekly.  The pattern pages will be very detailed and will feature a few ways you can make this block in addition to the method we will use in class).
