to do it... the opposite is true. Talking about suicide opens a door for communication
and help!
Someone may be contemplating suicide if…
Possible Indicators
- A drop in grades
- A lack of interest in usual activities
- A lack of motivation - decreased general activity
- Sleeping all the time
- Giving away possessions
- Talking about suicide
- Making arrangements - getting affairs in order
Possible Indicators
Continued
- Sudden and unusual euphoria
- Drug or alcohol abuse/use
- Mental illness
- Eating disorder
- Previous attempts family history of suicide
- Taking unnecessary risks or self-destructive behavior

Ask the hard questions
